About the Role

As a Conversation Designer (AI Chat) at Rita ABC, you’ll design the full experience of interacting with Mondai—our AI guide that helps users navigate their career journeys. This role is part of the Intelligence Experience Focus Team, where you’ll shape both the conversational logic and the interface that delivers it.

You’ll craft natural, supportive interactions while also designing the chat environment itself—how messages are displayed, how users interact with the interface, and how the chat integrates with the broader product. This role is both creative and strategic: part UX writing, part interaction design, part product design. Your goal is to make Mondai’s conversations not just functional, but seamless, intuitive, and engaging across every touchpoint.

Responsibilites

Design conversational flows for Mondai that are clear, engaging, and aligned with user needs.
Define and maintain the AI’s voice and tone, ensuring consistency with Rita ABC’s brand and mission.
Design the interface of the chat experience, including message presentation, interaction patterns, and supporting UI elements.
Collaborate with product designers, engineers, and AI strategists to integrate conversation and interface design into the broader product journey.
Prototype, test, and refine both conversation flows and interface designs based on user feedback and data.
Establish design patterns and documentation for conversational UI and interaction standards.
Stay current with best practices in conversational UX, chatbot design, and emerging interface trends.

Requirements

2–4 years of experience in conversation design, UX writing, product/UX design, or a related field.
Strong understanding of conversational UX principles and interface design for chat-based systems.
Experience designing or contributing to the UI of conversational products (chatbots, messaging tools, AI platforms).
Ability to translate complex tasks and ideas into simple, natural interactions supported by intuitive UI.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma (for interface design and prototyping).
Familiarity with AI-driven tools, large language models, or chatbot platforms.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with comfort working in cross-functional AI/product teams.
Passion for building human-centered, AI-powered learning experiences.
